Community hosts are circling back to the Oct. 21 2026 announcement that Dogecoin Labs formed as the official commercial partner for the Dogecoin Foundation and pulled three separate product teams into a single organization.
Dogecoin Labs announced on Oct. 21, 2026, that it has formed in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, bringing the MyDoge wallet, the DogeOS app layer and Such App into one independent organization.
The Dogecoin Foundation signed an agreement naming Dogecoin Labs its official commercial partner.
MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App, along with their product and development teams, come together in one independent organization, Dogecoin Labs.
Dogecoin Labs focuses on products, app infrastructure and commercial opportunities that bring DOGE into everyday use, from wallets and payments to gaming and social apps.
MyDoge, a self-custodial Dogecoin mobile wallet for sending, receiving, storing and tipping DOGE, rolled out its V3 release to users in recent weeks.
DogeOS is an app layer for Dogecoin where developers build and test apps with familiar tools.
In its beta, Such App offers invoicing and in-person QR payments so merchants can sell goods and services for DOGE. It is set to connect with DogeOS, linking merchants to apps built for Dogecoin.
The Dogecoin Foundation keeps its role of stewardship, open-source development support, advocacy and community work, and the two organizations work in partnership.
Founded in 2014, the Dogecoin Foundation is the steward of Dogecoin and backs open-source development across the Dogecoin ecosystem.
