Release Details
On/Off Ramps, a USDC banking infrastructure service, was released on Oct. 20, 2026. The release added stablecoin on-ramps, off-ramps and cross-border FX payouts to a banking platform. The products worked with the platform’s accounts, payments, cards and credit products. The products were available to the bank’s partners.
On-Ramp Process
Through the on-ramp, partners or their users converted dollars in a bank account into USDC and sent it to a wallet. On-ramp funds left the account over blockchain rails at any hour. The products ran around the clock, every day of the year.
Off-Ramp Capabilities
With the off-ramp, a partner or its users received USDC and ended up with dollars in a bank account. Off-ramp funds connected to FedNow, RTP, ACH and wire rails, or moved abroad through FX payouts. Partners could also choose wires for a payout.
FX Payout Flow
FX payouts moved dollars to a stablecoin, then onto the local rail, paying the recipient in local currency. The products ran around the clock, every day of the year. The release added these features to support the platform’s existing accounts, payments, cards and credit products.
